Booking & payment
A booking is made upon confirmation in writing with a booking reference & receipt of deposit.
Full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. 50 % deposit is due 31 days or more prior to arrival. In the event of non-payment of a deposit or balance due, Lidwala Lodge reserves the right to cancel any bookings without notice or liability to the client. Please note payment is the client’s responsibility and that any international bank charges or transaction fees incurred during the payment process is the responsibility of the client and will be borne by the client.
Cancellations
Having confirmed your booking, you have concluded a contract with us and we are holding your accommodation exclusively for you. Because the room is kept for you, it is unavailable for others to book. Cancellations pose a significant challenge for our operations as we turn away other potential guests during the time your room was reserved for you. Because of this, kindly be understanding of our cancellation policy which helps to balance the potential loss of revenue whilst ensuring the sustainability of our services for all guests. If in doubt when booking, we recommend travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances that may arise.

Catering, Meals & Drinks
Meals are available by prior booking. Self catering facilities are also available. Please note that Lidwala Lodge has a licensed bar so strictly no beverages may be brought onto the property.
Our bar has a range of beers, ciders, wines, cool drinks and water for sale.
The Velvet Monkey Restaurant and Cocktail Bar is nestled within the Roki Centre gardens and is just 50 meters away from the Lodge. There are various other restaurants & shops within close proximity. Gables and Corner Plaza are great shopping centres for all other supplies that you may need.
Breakages
You agree to cover the cost of replacement of any items, equipment or materials that you damage or lose. You will be informed of this cost and agree that Lidwala Lodge may debit this amount to your account or card.
Smoking
We are committed to providing a clean and healthy environment for all our guests. To maintain a smoke-free and enjoyable atmosphere, please do not smoke in any of the Lodge buildings, including guest rooms, common areas and dining areas, using tobacco products, electronic cigarettes and vaping devices.
Guest Identification
Guests must present valid identification (ID and / or passport) during check-in for security purposes.
Liability
You warrant that you have familiarized yourself with all risks associated with staying at Lidwala Lodge and accept all liability for your stay. By booking with Lidwala Lodge, you agree to abide by the conditions of entry and code of conduct attached herewith. You agree to read these fully and sign prior to your arrival.
All bookings are at your own risk and are subject to force majeure. Where Lidwala Lodge is unable to fulfill the booking as a result of unforeseen circumstances beyond its control (including an Act of God, Act of Government, or other Authorities, wars, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, epidemics, guarantees, delay in construction or completion of new facilities or renovations), then Lidwala Lodge shall not be liable for any loss or damage and no refunds will be due.
Privacy
All personal information you provide is required for your booking. Your information will not be made available to third parties by Lidwala Lodge. Lidwala Lodge may send information to guests including people that have subscribed to its newsletter.
Guests may unsubscribe at any time.
Pets
Pets are not allowed.
Parking
Free parking on site for guests that stay over-night.
